Services - Residential Services

Introduction

Our residential service comprises both on-site and community based facilities.

All services involve structured programmes with input from key workers such as our Nursing and Allied Health Care staff, Clinical Nurse Specialists and the Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Close liaison with families is vitally important. All programmes are developed through Personal Outcomes and Person-Centred Plans and are tailored to meet the needs of the individual. The organised programmes are varied and include for example; cinema and theatre visits, trips to cafés and restaurants, dancing, swimming, horse riding, golf, badminton and other recreational activities, education, attending on site day programmes (IONA, STEPS, DREAM, Sunset Club), horticulture, training sessions in recognised communication systems, cookery, computing and visits home.
